Welcome

Corey developed restrictive cardiomyopathy and required a heart transplant when he was just 4 years old. Despite his ordeal, Corey still manages a smile and is the feature heart child for the 2007 Heartkids campaign.

A year later, Corey is now in Kindergarten and loving school life with his friends. Mum, Jo, says “Corey enjoys life to the fullest, we never dared to dream he would be so well, we are so proud of him”. Thanks to the magical cardiac team at The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, Corey is participating in normal activities like karate and playing with his brother Reece.

Browse through our website and learn more about restrictive cardiomyopathy and about Heartkids.
